I’m not sure how a full year has passed since I took over the reins of the WMEA Program. It’s been a whirlwind of learning about recycling in general and how we, as Paulding County residents, contribute specifically to keeping material out of landfill. WMEA New Website
Your WMEA Program has been up and running during the Covid-19 outbreak, albeit on a limited basis. We’ve still been making pickups at some of the County entities that remained open, supported the school staff as they prepared lunches for our kiddos and did curb-side pickup for some of our Senior Citizens that were concerned about getting out in public. RECYCLING UPDATE AS OF APRIL 27, 2020
Due to the Covid19 Virus, ALL recycling activity and pickups provided by the Paulding County WMEA Program have been suspended until further notice. This includes the Paulding County Fairground’s and Cecil Fire Station pickups that would normally occur the first Saturday of the month from 9-11am.
